While some celebrities seem to make a sport out of trying to hide any plastic surgeries they’ve had done from rabid paparazzi, others take the opposite tack and boldly share why and what they’ve received. Paula Abdul is one of these, who has since the summer of 2019 shouted from the rooftops how much she loves Facetite!

Paula is an icon of Hollywood, and for years many have speculated on how she has been able to remain so timelessly beautiful; but wonder no more! She became an ambassador for InMode, the creators of both BODYtite and FACEtite, two minimally invasive body contouring procedures that reduce sagging skin, wrinkles, and other symptoms of aging. You only have to briefly scroll through Paula’s Instagram page to realize just how much she is in love with FACEtite.

What is FACEtite?

FACEtite is a facial contouring procedure that harnesses waves of radiofreqency energy to stimulate collagen production, tighten loose skin, and enhance facial definition. This means that it will target double chins, jowl formations, and give you those chiseled cheekbones that we all want to add to our Instagram feeds.

FACEtite is significantly less invasive than many of the surgical options available today. Paula stated that this was one of the things that drew her to FACEtite; because it is such a non-invasive procedure, there is a much shorter recovery time, and the results are evident within a few days. It is administered through two metal probes that are skimmed simultaneously along the interior and exterior of the facial skin tissues. These probes transmit radiofreqency energy through the skin that is then tightened, and fat cells are disintegrated by the heat.

The doctor will then insert a small metal cannula that suctions out any excess liquefied fat, thus removing those ever-clinging fat pockets that are impossible to be rid of otherwise. FACEtite can be administered with only a local anesthetic, and requires a week or two of recovery.

Paula Spills the Tea on Why She Loves FACEtite!

Shortly before Abdul announced that she was becoming an ambassador for FACEtite, she spoke candidly in an interview about what procedures she had done, and why she chose to pursue FACEtite in the first place.

Paula shared how she felt it was time to have some sort of facial rejuvenation done to address some issues of skin laxity and gravity, but that she was nervous about the incisions required for a traditional facelift. So she chose to research the road less traveled, and this led to her discovery of FACEtite. She was hoping to have a more slim and sleek jawline, and overall appearance.

She opened up about her personal experience with her FACEtite procedure and recovery time, stating that she only needed a sedative when going through the hour-long process. She said she only felt a little “loopy” post-op, and was up and around within a few days.
