Will CoolSculpting Elite Rule the World?

For more than a decade now, CoolSculpting® Legacy has been one of the top choices for patients who wanted to lose stubborn fatty tissue in a non-surgical and non-invasive way. With more than 8 million procedures performed worldwide proved to be the missing link in the fat reduction field by helping patients lose the extra fat that just wouldn’t budge. CoolSculpting® Legacy has undoubtedly brought a solid wave of ‘cool’ into the world of plastic surgery and Dr. William J. Vinyard, MD, FACS was one of the first plastic surgeons to embrace this amazing technology when it first became available in the United States.
The Arrival of CoolSculpting® Elite
However, a true king always knows how to step aside and allow someone more fit to rule in his stead. In January, an improved version of the traditional CoolSculpting® Legacy emerged on the market, one that has built upon the original’s legacy to bring fantastic improvements to the field of fat reduction: CoolSculpting® Elite!
Here at the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Vinyard was quick to notice the new device’s superior benefits and, with a strong dedication towards customer care, placed CoolSculpting® Elite on the top shelf of body contouring devices. Now, Dr. Vinyard and the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery are the first practice to obtain and offer the new CoolSculpting Elite treatments to patients on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
What is CoolSculpting® Elite?
‘The new generations of cool,’ as it is nowadays deemed, CoolSculpting® Elite brings the same body contouring experience you know and love up to 2021 standards. Using a nonsurgical technique, CoolSculpting® Elite helps patients lose more extensive amounts of fatty tissue than any other nonsurgical fat reduction device.
How Does the Treatment Work?
CoolSculpting® Elite harnesses the benefits of cryolipolysis (fat freezing technology) in a controlled manner to damage unwanted fatty tissue without any injury to the overlying skin tissue. Once damaged, the cells cannot retain fat anymore, causing the body to remove them naturally. Overall, the math is simple: less fat cells in the treated area means less accumulation of unwanted fat.
As an improvement to the original, CoolSculpting® Elite makes use not of one but of two C-shaped devices called applicators, the devices through which the procedure is performed. This translates into superior fat reduction, larger cooling areas (upward to 18%), and reduced procedure times.
Am I a Suitable Candidate for CoolSculpting® Elite?
Are you doing your best to remove excess fatty tissue through diet and exercise? Are you within 14-20 pounds of your goal weight? Then CoolSculpting® Elite may be the ideal choice for you!
CoolSculpting® Elite has been approved by the FDA and delivers fantastic results in nine different body areas, such as the submental area, the chest, the abdomen, and the thighs. However, be sure to remember that CoolSculpting® Elite is not a weight loss solution and cannot stand as a substitute for proper diet and constant exercise. Furthermore, patients with specific disorders, such as Raynaud’s disease, do not fall into the ‘ideal candidate’ category. Make sure that you discuss these aspects with Dr. Vinyard during your complimentary consultation.
How Long Does the CoolSculpting® Elite Treatment Take?
As we’ve seen earlier, the new CoolSculpting® Elite device comes not with one but with two applicators, which means that you can kick back and enjoy two treatment sessions at the same time! Especially for the areas where two treatment session are needed, such as the ‘love handles’ (i.e., fatty tissue around the waistline) and the ‘banana rolls’ (i.e., the bulges of fat that occur under the buttocks), CoolSculpting® Elite cuts the treatment time in half. In total, depending on the treatment area, a procedure can last anywhere between 35-75 minutes, cutting the CoolSculpting® Legacy times for two treatment areas in half.
Furthermore, since it is a nonsurgical procedure with no anesthesia, at our office in Port St. Lucie, FL, we perform CoolSculpting® Elite as an outpatient procedure. For that reason, you can jump right back into your day-to-day schedule with little to no downtime.
What Results Can I Expect from CoolSculpting® Elite?
After just one CoolSculpting® Elite session, numerous patients report around 20-25% reduction in fatty tissue. And that’s not all – turning CoolSculpting® Elite into a treatment plan with at least two sessions can help improve those results.
All good things take time, and CoolSculpting® Elite results stand by this saying. While it is true that it may take several months to see your final results, most patients are noticing the improvements within several weeks after their treatment. To maintain your new body shape, you will want to continue a proper diet and exercise program.
The new generation of ‘cool’ is here to stay, and CoolSculpting® Elite is definitely taking hold of the body-contouring crown. Here at the Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, we’re more than ready to join you in your own CoolSculpting® Elite experience, exchanging unwanted fatty tissue with improved body contour and confidence.
