LED Light Therapy
Repair and Replenishment of Damaged Skin Cells – Port Saint Lucie, FL
Low- level light therapy or photobiomodulation is based on light emitting diode technology and is the application of light energy to the body for therapeutic benefits.
What is LED Light Therapy?
It promotes a natural photo biochemical reaction similar to the process of plant photosynthesis. The energy delivered by the LED’s has been shown to enhance cellular metabolism, accelerate the repair and replenishment of damaged skin cells, as well as stimulate the productions of collagen – the foundation of healthy, smooth skin. Research has shown the LED light therapy may help smooth skin texture, imrpove skin firmness and resilience, increase lymphatic system activity, restore skin’s natural cellular activity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and superficial hyperpigmentation. Light therapy is an innovative and effective technology with the ability to enhance results of any facial or treatment. At Vinyard Institute of Plastic Surgery, we believe in using a multifaceted approach to improve your skin and enhance your results. Light therapy is a great add on to any service. This is a no downtime treatment that takes 30 minutes, and will leave you relaxed and glowing. With our Celluma Light Therapy device, we can choose between 3 settings to target each patient’s specific, unique concerns.
